Paying tribute to the world’s highest peaks and the alpinists who dare to climb them enduring extreme conditions, the Montblanc 1858 Automatic Date 0 Oxygen The 8000 is housed in a 41mm stainless steel case totally devoid of oxygen. This has several advantages for explorers by eliminating fogging and preventing oxidization, thus allowing the movement to last far longer with greater precision. The timepiece is powered by the automatic calibre MB 24.17 and comes with a black ceramic bezel with luminescent cardinal points, a dark grey Sfumato glacier patterned dial with orange accents, blue luminescence and a case back featuring an engraving of the “Spirit of Exploration”. Like the other models in this capsule collection, The Montblanc 1858 Automatic Date 0 Oxygen The 8000 comes with an interchangeable tapered stainless steel bracelet with a fine adjustment system.

Brand Montblanc

The name Montblanc has always been associated with precision writing tools that reflect the pinnacle of artistic processing and technical sophistication. Founded in 1906 in Hamburg, Germany, where it resides till today, it has quickly gained a reputation as a manufacturer of quality pens. For her logo, the company chose a six-pointed white star symbolizing the permanently snowed peak of Europe's highest mountain, Montblanc. The analogy between the highest apex of the Pole and the tip of the writing instruments is shown on the tip of the fountain pens, where the number 4810 and hence the height of the mountain is located. Montblanc pens were characterized by a simple system and a unique design that caused interest around the world. The Meisterstück model, introduced in 1924, became an instant legend.
