The name Montblanc has always been associated with precision writing tools that reflect the pinnacle of artistic processing and technical sophistication. Founded in 1906 in Hamburg, Germany, where it resides till today, it has quickly gained a reputation as a manufacturer of quality pens. For her logo, the company chose a six-pointed white star symbolizing the permanently snowed peak of Europe's highest mountain, Montblanc. The analogy between the highest apex of the Pole and the tip of the writing instruments is shown on the tip of the fountain pens, where the number 4810 and hence the height of the mountain is located. Montblanc pens were characterized by a simple system and a unique design that caused interest around the world. The Meisterstück model, introduced in 1924, became an instant legend. This collection is one of the best selling ones even today.
The company had a really hard time in the war, but it was finally successful. It gradually expanded its portfolio with high-quality leather accessories made in Italy, jewelry made in Germany, and in 1997 eventually entered into the world of watchmakers. The debut in the Meisterstück collection was a success. The transformation to a serious watchmaker began a decade later, when management decided to purchase the old Swiss Minerva factory. Building on a rich history, the real art of watchmaking began. The first IN-HOUSE caliber tagged as MB R100 immediately launched a new stage in the Montblanc watches. Other machines and IN-HOUSE modules have been gradually added. The world of haute horlogerie has been enriched with beautiful pieces with tourbillon and other masterful complications. Montblanc is no longer just a manufacturer of stationery, it is also a wonderful artistic watches, quality leather and decent accessories that will enhance your personal style.
